Golf's odd, almost inexplicably complicated relationship with ... shorts

The average golfer, in the summer, is rolling to the first tee in shorts. Not on the PGA Tour. Many players would love to wear shorts in competition. The apparel companies would be all for it. Still, it's not happening any time soon.
