The NFL will release its schedule at 6p.m Eastern Time on Thursday. Roger Goodell sent a memo out to all 32 teams, that was more polite than the last memo that made headlines, to essentially muzzle their personal thoughts on the schedule release. Is there a sports league that has been more lucky than the NFL? From free agency to the NFL Draft to Tom Brady trespassing by accident in a Tampa Bay home, most conversations about the NFL have had nothing to do with how the coronavirus could derail the season. And here they are releasing the NFL schedule right on time, can you imagine the chaos if the season was scheduled to begin in June? If that isn’t luck then I don’t what is.
